A Journey of Faith

STEP 01
Ihram
Start your Umrah journey with a sincere intention to enter the state of Ihram and engage in the rituals of Umrah, with the recitation of the Talbiyah. Then, put on the Ihram garments.
STEP 02
Tawaf
is an act of worship in which a Muslim circumambulates around His Noble House (the Kaaba), worshiping the Lord of the House and drawing closer to Him through what He has prescribed.
01. We enter the mataf and stand next to the black stone, making it to our left.
02. We raise the hand and say “Allahu Akbar” when aligned.
03. We begin circumambulation counterclockwise
04. We pray during circumambulation.
05. When we reach the same point from which we started, aligning with the Black Stone, we have completed one step, so we repeat the alignment, raising the hand, and saying “Allahu Akbar.” To start a new stage.
06. We continue until we complete seven rounds in the same manner.
STEP 03
Sa'i between Safa and Marwa
When you finish the circumambulation, you will find guidance signs inside the Grand Mosque directing you to the journey, and pointing to Al-Safa, the place where the journey begins.
01. The beginning from Mount Al-Safa: The mountain no longer exists, but there are remains of rocks on the ground floor. On the upper floors there are signs showing the location of Al-Safa.
02. Walking towards Mount Marwa.
03. Before Al-Marwa, when they reach the area of the two green flags visible on the roof of Al-Massa’, the men run. They stop jogging after the end of Alamein. Jogging = closer to running.
04. When we reach Al-Marwah, we will have completed one way, then we turn around and return to Al-Safa where we started.
05. We continue until we complete three and a half laps that end at Mount Marwa, and the males jog every time they pass the Green Alamein area. Thus, we have completed seven rounds.
STEP 04
Shave Hair or Trim
After completing the tawaf and sa'i, the umrah visitor shaves or cuts his hair, thereby completing the Umrah and what was prohibited during it is permitted for him.
For Males: Shaving the entire head or shortening it.
For Females: Shaving the entire head or shortening it.
The pilgrim may postpone cutting his hair until he returns to his residence, and he may have it cut for himself or by those residing with him. However, the prohibitions remain in effect until he is shaved.
